The Legislative Veto-Proof team was victorious last night in the annual Legislative v. Executive basketball game last night. Our deep bench proved its worth last night with the 63-54 win. We hardly even need Thurl Bailey’s help at all.

The Big Game

Tonight is the Big legislative v. Executive Basketball Game. This game is played annually, some claim as far back as pioneer times. Tonight’s game is at 6:30 PM at the Delta Center and is free and open to the public.

Chief Clerk Retires

Our Chief Clerk of the House, Carole Peterson, retired November 15th. Carole had been with the House for 30 years and was the first female Chief Clerk of the House. The Tribune has written a very nice profile of Carole in today’s paper. We wish Carole well in her retirement.
